We built this one around the leaf rather than the colour. Here is what that means in the cup.

Fresh vegetal lift, the way good matcha smells the moment you open the tin. Green because of the tea, not because of the dye.

The umami depth that separates real tea from the powder in a vending machine latte. It gives the sweetness something to push against.

Milk or oat, two pumps, done. No sifting, no clumps, no bamboo whisk to rinse afterwards.
Iced Matcha Lemonade
Lemon, soda water and Matcha over plenty of ice. Sharp and green, and it disappears fast on a hot patio.
Matcha Tonic
Tonic, a squeeze of lime, Matcha. The quinine bitterness meets the tea's savoury side and the two behave themselves.
Matcha Espresso Martini
Vodka, espresso, Matcha. The grassiness cuts through the coffee instead of hiding underneath it.

When does Matcha launch?
Soon. We are finishing the first production run now, and the list gets the exact date before anyone else. That is the whole point of signing up.
Is this real matcha?
Yes. It is a tea concentrate made with real matcha, which is where the colour comes from. That is also why it is a deeper, more opaque green than the neon you may have seen elsewhere.
How is it different from a syrup?
It is a tea concentrate rather than a flavoured syrup, so the tea does the work rather than the flavouring. One bottle, no whisking, no sifting, no clumps in the bottom of the cup.
How big is the bottle?
946 ml, the same format as the rest of the SIMPS line. It fits a standard speed rail and works with our pumps.
